Know the rules to understand how to win at roulette
Before we start placing bets, let’s take a quick look at the main rules for playing roulette. There are two types of roulette tables: the French (or European) and the American. In both games we find a wheel and a table divided into colored and numbered boxes. In the more classic version, the French, we have a total of 37 boxes in red and black, numbered from 1 to 36, with a single green box where the number 0 is written. In the American version we have the same number of squares but with an additional green square with the double 0, for a total of 38 squares.
All the fields are arranged on the game board. Here you can select the numbers you want to bet on:
● Full number, single number
● horse, pair of adjacent numbers
● triplet, three numbers in a row
● quatrain, group of four adjacent numbers
● Sestina, group of six numbers on two adjacent lines
● Dozen, group of twelve numbers that appear in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd field of the board
● Column, group of twelve numbers that are found in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd column of the board
● Even or odd, set of all squares that contain even or odd numbers
Red or Black, set of all boxes that include the red or black boxes

Once you sit down at the table and are ready to place your bet, you must place your chips on the box or boxes on the board for the number or line of numbers you have chosen. The game begins when the croupier throws the ball into the moving wheel; when the ball completes its run and lands on one of the boxes, you will find out which number is the winning number.

The best strategies to win at roulette
There are many strategies that have been researched over time and are useful for increasing the chances of winning and better organizing bets. Let’s look at the most common methods, designed specifically for those who want to maximize their winnings while avoiding big losses: the progressive strategies.
The Martingale Strategy
One of the most well-known and at the same time simplest winning strategies in roulette is called Martingale. It originated in 18th century France and was developed for a game very similar to the famous heads or tails. Basically, it works like this: for each unsuccessful bet, the next bet must be made by doubling the stake of the previous bet; this always makes it possible to cover the value of the loss incurred. The first successful bet will fully refund the value lost up to that point.
A somewhat risky strategy, especially for beginners, which is why we advise against it.
We would like to remind you that when betting you should always stay within your economic means and avoid letting the game have a negative impact on your finances or social life. Gambling, in addition, can cause a pathological addiction. Play sensibly.
The Labouchère Strategy

You have to write down a series of numerical values, long or short depending on the style, that you want to play. The sum of the first and last bets determines the value of the bet to be placed. In case of a win, the value is deleted and the next following sum of numbers (first + last) is played until all existing numbers are deleted. In case of a loss, the value corresponding to the bet just lost is added to the end of the list. It continues and bets again on the sum of the extremes.
The Paroli strategy
A strategy suitable for more experienced players who like riskier bets. First of all, it is necessary to set the maximum number of bets that can be made using this method. For each bet won, the next bet must be doubled from time to time. If at the end of the set bets the average of the winning bets is higher, the sum of the bets will bring the player a profit.
The D’Alembert strategy.
A method that belonged to the well-known mathematician who loves live casino games. This method consists in gradually increasing the value of the bet after a losing bet. Conversely, after a successful bet, you have to decrease the value of the bet. At the end of the bets, the final average brings the player a certain profit.
The Fibonacci Strategy
System known for the famous sequence of the mathematician Fibonacci. This method increases the value of the bet after a loss by adding the value of the lost number to the next number in the sequence. Conversely, it should be reduced after a win. A strategy that only brings profit in the long term.
